Worlds Apart is proud to be involved with the Tops in Lex event Lexington's Top Dressed! This event showcases different people in our community and the charities they support. Vote for who you think the Top Dressed in Lex is and whoever has the most votes by August 17th will receive $2,000 towards their charity. Second place will receive $1,000 and third place will receive $500 for their charities. The winners will be announced at the Lexington's Top Dressed fashion show August 19th at Busters. Worlds Apart is participating in the fashion show and would love for you to come out and support us and our fellow members of the community. Fashion Show this Saturday

Worlds Apart will be participating in a fashion show this Saturday at 5:00 PM at the Hilton Suites. There is a $5 admission which benefits a village in Haiti wrecked by the recent earthquake. CapacityInc. is the host and is a wonderful organization. CapacityInc.'s goal is to lift women out of poverty and give them the inspiration to get a successful job, start their own business, or just succeed with positive role models. Worlds Apart is honored to be part of the event this Saturday and we hope to see you there!

Fashion Show for LexArts

This past Thursday, we participated in a fashion show for LexArts. It was a great success and we all had a wonderful time! Here are a few pictures from the event and a link to Tops in Lex for the great slideshow they put together.

LexArts Fashion Show

Worlds Apart is participating in the LexArts fashion show this Thursday, February 18th at the Downtown Arts Center. LexArts is an organization designed to promote the various arts in Lexington through fund raising and community support. From the Opera House to local galleries, LexArts is a major influence and asset to our city.
Worlds Apart is currently providing LexArts discount cards to assist in fund raising for the organization. You can receive this card by making a donation of at least 52 dollars. This card gives you 10% off at many Lexington restaurants and galleries. It also gives the card holder 20% off certain retail stores, including Worlds Apart, for the weeks of February 20 -27, 2010, September 11 - 18, 2010 and February 19 - 26, 2011.
The fashion show this week is to kick off the retail discount week. Tickets are 65 dollars for the event and guests will be provided complimentary drinks and light hors d'oeuves. So, come check out what Worlds Apart has to offer for the Spring and help support our local arts at the same time!

Note: We are sorry to say that Heidi Klum will not be in attendance this Thursday, but wouldn't it be wonderful if she was!
