Tomorrow is the "Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports" and everyone is getting excited in the Bluegrass. The Kentucky Derby is a timeless tradition and the greatest event in the state. Mint Juleps, big hats, and beautiful horses all contribute to the ambiance of the Kentucky Derby. In celebration of Earth Day tomorrow...here are a few facts about the Earth that we think our interesting and good to know!

- Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to watch a TV for three hours -it's equivalent to half a gallon of gasoline.
- If every newspaper was recycled, we could save about 250,000 trees each year. Unfortunately only 27% of all American newspapers are recycled.
- April 22 is the first official day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and of Fall in the Southern hemisphere and was chosen to be Earth Day for this reason.
