New Years Resolution

Ok, so we have been pretty bad about keeping up with our posts in the past couple of months so appropriately, our New Years resolution is to become better with our blog. This coming year we are going to keep you informed on all the latest fashion trends, our promotions in the store, whats going on around Lexington and any and all other cool things we find in 2011. So, lets raise our glass to the New Year and all of the exciting things to come in the next 12 months!

The World Equestrian Sand Sculpture

During the World Equestrian Games, Artique will be hosting The World Equestrain Sand Sculpture by Damon Farmer. Starting this Wednesday, September 22, 100 tons of sand will be coming in and the framework for the sculpture will begin. Come visit us out in Lexington Green to see this one of a kind artist turn sand into magnificent artwork. Worlds Apart and Lexington Green are so excited to witness and participate in the World Equestrian Games. Come help support your local businesses during this extraordinary event!

Lexington's Fashion Night Out

In accordance with New York's Fashion Night Out, Lexington will be celebrating fashion here! Tomorrow night different participating boutiques, including Worlds Apart, will celebrate everything that is fashion and offer special discounts and promotions throughout the day. Also, there will be bracelets on sale for $3. The money will go to the Lexington Fashion Collaborative which supports different local designers in our community. So, come on out tomorrow night and enjoy some wine and a night full of shopping!

Our fall items are starting to come in at the Lexington Green location and we are all super pumped about whats in store for the Fall. Worlds Apart is proud to be involved with the Tops in Lex event Lexington's Top Dressed! This event showcases different people in our community and the charities they support. Vote for who you think the Top Dressed in Lex is and whoever has the most votes by August 17th will receive $2,000 towards their charity. Second place will receive $1,000 and third place will receive $500 for their charities. The winners will be announced at the Lexington's Top Dressed fashion show August 19th at Busters.
